After owning a Cerbera for four years, I have decided to sell it, as I don't use it as much as I'd like to. Its a 1999 4.2 with 39,000 miles, one previous owner and FSH. I am putting it on Pistonheads tomorrow in the classifieds when I've done the pics. Would anybody have any idea of its worth, as I don't want to let it go too cheaply nor over price it. Any constructive replys would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I couldnt give a guide on price. As it really depends on condition with a Cerb, and worked carried out on it.One thing though.Be prepared for the time wasters and dreamers, before you get any serious enquiries. You will have plenty of those.curse

Cheers for quick response, i've spent thousands keeping it in tip-top condition and Ian at Torque RVT reckons it is mint.. also Rob Ingleby checked it over before I bought it and said it was one of the best he'd seen.

Have a look at the adverts on the Classifieds section - should give you an idea.

It also depends how much of a hurry you are in to sell. I gave myself six months to sell my last car, advertised for the price I wanted for it (ie above what many thought it was probably worth) and sold it in four months. If I'd needed it shifting quicker, I'd have settled for less.

It's the right time of year to sell a Cerb and I believe there are people regularly checking Classifieds waiting for the right one to come along (I know I did, almost hourly until a month or so ago!). This is definitely the best place to advertise it IMHO.

Good luck with the sale.
