My car has just gone in for its 12K service and MOT. And I have been told that i need to replace all 4 tyres. The quote is approx £900. I believe they are T1 R's and I remember paying less than £100 each the last time I had to replace them. The problem is I cannot remember where I bought them.
I live in west london and the car is being serviced in Crawley W.Sussex.
The service costs are 'large' and therefore I can't afford the prices I am being quoted. Web search is not giving me much hope either. Can anyone recommend a good value for money supplier in the south that could potentially supply the areas I mentined. Many Thanks

Places like Micheldever Tyres - who are consistently cheap will ship tyres for a reasonable price. That might save you a few £s. Also if you're looking for a budget offering and will go non toyo, Falkens have been reported by some as a good tyre choice.

I have just had the 2 rears fitted for just over £300 by ATS. £900 for 4 seems well over priced.

Camskill have Falken FK452s for £77 for a 225/35 R18 and £96 for a 255/35 R18, which I think are the right ones as iirc their replacements were reported to be not as good a tyre. I've never used the servicing garage to do tyres, always a tyre specialist.

Camskill are offering the T1Rs.

Quick check and £462 will get you 2 x 225/35/18 & 2/255/35/18 delivered. You will need to add local fitting, so add £15 or so a corner top whack.

Event Mobile Tyres get good prices, and they'll come to your door and fit them. When pricing up replacements for my Volvo, they where cheaper than Mitcheldever and they come to you!

Another vote for Camskill here.

Had 2 x 225/35ZR18 Toyo Proxes T1/R a few weeks back. Total was 212.00 including delivery.

Top Marks Camskill.

Simon.
