Two days to go and very excited before the first two races in the GT Cup at Donnington on Sunday, practice and qualifying Saturday.

The grid is full, so rolling starts for safety, as 40 cars start the season with high hopes.

The Cerb is up against 23 Porsche, 12 Ferrari, 2 BMW, 1 Ginetta and 1 Marcos!

I've been bumped up to Group 2 due to the amount of work that Andy APM has performed on the car from last season, my power to weight ratio and the wider discussion of my recent times at Brands even with massive understeer!

We should have a good run on the day, and great event with Formula Palmer Audi, Historics, VdeV, Lotus etc in the other races.

If you're about come and say hello!

Good luck John.

Look forward to seeing it on the TV, any idea when it's going to be aired?

I think we should start a fighting fund, sell sq' inches of bonnet for a tenner, that way we can all afford to go racing and have a piece of the action. biggrin

Good luck on the racing this season. Go get those Porsches!

Having my 4.2 rebuilt by Andy at the moment-the green one. Hoping to recreate some of the magic of your earlier engine work!

I don't like the picture on that home page. You "appear" to be behind the Ferrari. That can't be right unless you are coming up to lap him of course.

Brakes are now brilliant, I did spend the first half of the season with the other ones fading out in the last 10 to 5 minutes and had to pump them, but the 6 pot APs are brilliant with the big discs.
