BAD BRAKES ON MY 4.2 CERB.
Discussion
Excellent price, but do replace the piston seals before you fit them, they're easy to change and don't cost too much from AP Racing, that way you know it's all right when it all goes back together.
I believe that the 4.5 brakes and disks need the bigger wheel rims, i.e RL 17" and bigger. But, I don't have the 4.5 brakes so I can't be certain.
May be interested in your old calipers if they're going cheap.

I'm rather surprised that you're having problems to be honest, I found my 4.2 brakes to be absolutely excellent.
Check disc run-out as they can warp and the general condition, no sticking pistons etc as there's no dust seals on these cars.
Also braided hoses and decent pads will obviously help.

PS Caps lock is taken as shouting on here........

Second hand brakes !! Coulod be a whole lot of trouble. If they need new discs that will cost a packet.
Disks I agree, could be expensive, but calipers are easy to rebuild, and all parts are available from AP racing, there's not much too them, pistons and seals that's about it. Surely those alone are worth the £300. I hate to think how much new calipers are.Tim
