As title really, one should do but if you have two good ones that would be better. Or if anyone wants to try out TC linked de-cats while I borrow your cats that could work too. In the region of junction 7 of M25 (M23) would be good.

Can anyone PM me details of an MOT place that will let the Cerb through with it's de-cats. Some where in the north of Surrey / Corydon area would be good. I know where there is one 250miles away but that’s a bit far to go for an MOT!
I have still got the old CATs but one is totally useless, it was ok with the standard exhaust as they could just check the good tail pipe but it’s got an SP system now & that mixes the gas in the back box banghead

Sorry for obvious pun, but I have three of the B'stards. You can have the lot for nothing.

Mog 1 is thick as Sh#t. Lob a brick at it and it will come back for more. Pull into drive, and it will happily remain stationary while you run it over. Favourite passtime is clawing wallpaper from walls

Mog 2 Pi##ed on my leather jacket, the tabby scumbag.

Mog 3 Loves to tromp through muddy fields, jump onto my car without taking it's paws off, and tap dance all over it. Normally ends in sliding off with claws dragging down paintwork.

Happy to deliver them if your house is within firing rangehehe

Thanks, but I think there could be a smell of singed hair if I stick them on the end of the down pipes...

Great thanks, my sisters live in Bristol so I could drop in on your special man on a visit to them. Could you PM the details of your man to me, assuming he won't mind me dropping by.
Thanks again biggrin

I've got a couple of cats in the garage you can borrow - I'm just South of Gatwick but I'm not back until Sunday.
Have you thought of giving Bodders at Austec a call? They'll change the cats, MOT it and replace. Might be cheaper than a tank of fuel(but not as much fun!)
Let me know if you want to borrow mine.
Cheers
Rob

Great thanks for that, it's gone to my work email that I won't get till Monday now, but I've got a few weeks till the test.
I'm really pleased with the 200sx, great fuel economy for the possible power, I'm aiming for 300bhp too wink You may be interested to know the Cerb wheels fit it perfectly, I'm running our old RL7s on it.
Thanks again for your help.

Many thanks for the offer, but I think I'll try & get it done with the friendly MOT guy. If I have any problems I'll let you know as I'm not in a rush. Thanks again.
Andy

PS
I did ask Austec they charge an hours labor to change them - 75 quid eek As you say, I think I'll go for the tank of fuel driving
(Actually that is quite a good offer really, I'm just a skin flint these days, owned a Cerb for too longwink)

Also the last time I went to Austec to use their rollers they found a number of jobs to be done 'that only they could do properly' They run a business so I don't blame them, but I'd rather not. Actually on a boring tangent, they are very good compared to a main dealer we took it to when it was only 2 years old, they wanted over four grand just for a service nuts I talked them down to just under 2k but still vomit Part of the 4k bill resulted from then wanting to replace all the discs as they were a 'bit worn' they lasted years after that! Back then I didn't know anything about the car, I don't think PHs was here & we wanted a full main dealer service history - these cars used to worth somethingweeping
Given up now & do everything my self yes

No worries, just shout if you want to borrow the cats.

I use Austec as I'm better with a credit card than a spanner!

Austec have been good at looking after me, but I avoid main stealers like the plague!

Cheers

Will do, thanks very much. I'm hoping it will work out seeing the nice man on the way to my sisters. My nieces have been begging me to pick them up from school in the Cerb!
If it doesn't happen you'll be hearing from me...
