Workshop Manual
Discussion
OK this is probably the first of many questions as I took the plunge on Saturday.
Is there such a thing as a Workshop Manual for the Cerbera and if so where from and how much? I Tried this website and the site seems to be out of action if you click on a download http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dave.hinns/software.h...
Is it normal for the radio to be cr*p? CD OK but radio useless when engine running and dealer says this if fairly normal as glass fibre body. He is going to check it though.
I joined TVRCC Saturday evening on line but have not had anything from them yet. Is this usual?

Workshop Manual?? This forum is it.
Radio reception? My last car was pretty poor, but on my current one it is really good - but I haven't got a clue where the aerial is, or what type it is
You joined TVRCC saturday just gone? It's only Monday today! But if you meant last week, then give them a ring and chase it.

OK aerials. The standard aerial on mine is a wire mixed into the loom under the windscreen.
I spent sometime playing with mine and came up with the best FM solution is to run the aerial lead, via an extension along the centre console to the boot, where I have a FM Powered sticky windscreen T type from halfords (about £12 I think) stuck to the fibreglass above the fueltank, kinda on the lip below the rear window as I didn't want it to be seen.
Most of the time this gives me ok-ish fm reception although isn't as good as an external aerial, but I didn't want to ruin the lines.
The best is supposed to be dab, which I'm going to play with next.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Thanks for all the very useful info on your site.
I hardly ever listen to a radio other than for traffic stuff. However, if a radio should function then I want to get it fixed by dealer before I collect the car.
Sorry about impatience regarding TVRCC. I have become used to the automated systems on web sites. Booked a ferry the same evening and printed the tickets and everything needed straight away so not used to waiting.
