this cerb is on PH sooo long, wondering why is it not sold... mileage is very low, perhaps too low, and serice history is complete but there is a big gap in years... i mean there are for sure some issues but are that that big... see the price

Nothing wrong with that colour, it's the colour that made us buy them -

Looks lovely to me. At that milegae and if dry stored in that barn probably has no chassis rot, no damp-damaged carpets etc. Looks like a bargain. Colour is great too, why have a boring colour on one of the curviest cars ever made .. make a statement .. buy it!!

Only thing I'd lke to know is what crank it has in it. 97 era was the change over from good to chocolate to ok cranks wasn't it?

Late 97/ early 98 was the switching point for cranks, thats not to say cranks before this point will go bang, just that ones after this point are less likely to

to be honest i never saw a cerb with an ugly colour.... usually they just look strange on the picture but in reality they look way better..

A Cerb makes every colour look better. course i prefer a buy one with a great history and no rust, black or starmis blue with black leather without any nicks and so on... but they are crazy difficult to find... or do you know someone...

by they way here in topgear they talk about the 4.2... but did you see the engine... it is a 4.5.... strange

that colour is the same on the one offered... not that great but surely not that ugly...

What I don't understand is if people find the right car i.e mechanically sound, within budget and the right milage, why don't they change the colour? i know there is logbook colour etc... but if you didn't like the shade of colour you have change it to a nicer shade. It really isn't that hard or costly and you can get a light upgrade as well!

Change the colour is going to cost at least £2K. More if you take engine out. Then there is the interior that may well not work with a new exterior colour.

I wasnt really having a go at the colour I was just suggesting a possible reason for it being a slow mover. smile

I dont think there is anything wrong with it,as there are others on there that have been on there just as long.It just requires the right genuine person to come down and view it.I bet he has had a few time wasters inquire about it like most on there.
