yep jonny is running in class A since he doesn't have a data logger, mike will be in class B .. but they're both pretty even stevens on bhp so it'll be very intersting to see how the APM prepared pro-mil mega machine of jonny stacks up against the father/son build in their back garden of mike's yellow monster, you'd think jonny would walk it but let's not forget mike put his cerbera on the front row of the grid at cadwell 3 weeks ago and everyone was simply astounded at it's pace! To see 2 cerbs on track at the same time is going to be a must-see for any cerbera enthusiast! smile ooo the tension builds smile

Yeah, but mike has a secret weapon. He has a flywheel made from the purest unobtainium. I pretty much guarantee no one will be able to match that.

So come on peeps, pics, news, chatter - how was the day??? Looking at the results sheet it seems Mike had another cracking weekend, 2nd in Class and 1st in Class respectively. Properly mixing it up with the Class A boys. Johnny I guess had some probs with a Dnf in the first?

We're all ears

was a great day thumbup

both cerbs looked great out there on track, unfortunately Johnny did have some probs so didn't finish the last race frown

but yeah Mike did very well and looked on top form, fastest lap too and was very busy in the pits in between races to get the car in tip top, bleeding brakes, oil changes and changing some very worn tyres hehe amongst a load of other stuff.

have loads of pics which I'm about to go through now.

But well done guys thumbup

hope you get it sorted it for Brands Johnny

Was a superb day, sun was shining biggrin

Was great to see the two Ceberas out (my main reason for going - and to get the wife to see our next car)

Must apologise to the chap in the purple Cerb parked up, as my son ran past he put his hand on it, gave me a heart attack, but it's my own fault for not keeping him on a leash. If there are any marks give me a shout, but i'm sure at worst it was just a sticky finger print. Sorry about that.

Yes was a great weekend! We allways knew the cerb would go well at Snett. But having never driven there before wasnt sure how well i would go!

I believe that johny had some engine issues in the first race.

For us it was nearly a perfect weekend. Pole in class (and infront of a few class A cars) However i messed the start up and cliff got the T350 passed me! After a few laps battleing i managed to get him back and started pulling away. However on lap 7 my brake fluid boiled. (rather scary at 145mph into a corner) Managed to hold it all together but had to take it easy for the rest of the race. Finished in second (just) with a red griff chassing me down. We did get fastest lap in that race though.

After a change of fluids and some temporary ducting the second race went better. At one stage was fighting with two tuscans but then i was informed that the T350 had started to drop back so eased off a bit to make sure the car made it home (Was more concerned with my first win than beating the class A cars). Secured the fastest lap in this race aswell!!

I believe its the first time a Cerbera has ever won a race in the TVR Challenge??

Really looking forwards to Brands on the 15th of June. We are 3 points behing the T350 in the championship so could potentialy come away from Brands in the lead. However the T350 is well suited to the twisty Brands indy track. Think there will be some close racing!

Some healthy Cerb support there would be great!!!

Mike
