dirty roads

anyone else think the roads seem extra dusty at the moment?
i picked my car up from the detailers yesterday and came home the long way,40 miles instead of 5 and the car was covered in dust when i arrived home.

Almost glad to see the rain. The dust on my car has been scouring my paintwork like one of the old time Vim / Jif adverts.
Car looks terrible under all the dust, but any effort to remove ends up with a myriad of fine scratches. Washing more than once a week would be a bit excessive.

On the other hand the E-Type goes for MOT tomorrow for first time in over 10 years, and I don't want it to rain. Took me an age to clean the darn wheels.

just finished cleaning mine very carefully with a power wash and snow foam.
then another coat of purple haze dodo juice,its come up well.
