Great job,

But I would have put clear indicator lenses on.

Bigger front grill and positioning of the number plate will really help with cooling.

well done.And great colour too.

Thanks

Yes I put the old orange ones back in, they really need changing for clear ones.

Wow how different does that look with the new grill.

Nice subtle mod thumbup But I can't make up my mind whether I prefer it with, or without the grille, I like them both. Did you 'chop out' the middle bar, or is it just disguised?

Hmmm, new grill (meshed section) may actually restrict airflow, but if you're not a BHP Chaser then it's not really an issue.

Looks superb by the way, very similar to my old 4.2

I like it, i think it looks even meaner with NO mesh in though.

thumbs down from me, doesnt balance the front design at all. Mesh out might be better, possibly with a bar running along the middle on and maybe with some different lights?

The centre bar is removed but as the lower section is not as wide as the upper section it makes a step when the bar is removed. Once the bar was removed the lower section of the opening was cut back to make it as wide and then glassed to make the shape at the sides and to make it flush.

The grill was put in to protect the rad from damage from stray stones etc, also the large opening acts as a great scoop for collecting leaves and other flying object so after a journey or being parked for a while it looks messy.

I prefered the aggresive look without the grill but added it later as felt it was needed. Had grill custom made to fit and is curves from left to right and top to bottom so nicer than a flat one.

Number plate is fitted with 2 'L' shaped aluminium brackets mounted to the underside so no holes etc in the chin.
