Inidcator beep & Mole Valley
Discussion
Hello all.
New Cerb owner here (I'm new not the car). Does anyone know how to lower the beep on the indicator. It's LOUD.
And... any feedback on Mole Valley. My car has just gone in for service and they came back with quite an expensive list of to do's. they seem professional, but just checking these will be real items that need doing.
Thanks!

Cheers Gazzab. Cerb is a '98 4.2 in silver. A real beaut. Goes like stink and a lot of fun. Superb sound.
I just put it in for service and it needs work on suspension and clutch slave/master... expected to have to provide TLC. I did have a 'pro' check it over before buying but the 'pro' missed some apparently obvious problems. More to come... depending on how it gets resolved I guess.
Still... I have a budget for repairs and the work's being done so when I have it back the GRIN will return...

Suspension - make sure you dont go for TVRs own suspension parts - go for springs and dampers by other manufacturers eg ohlins, Nitrons, AVOs and Redlines and of course Joospeed springs. If you dont go for the makes above (some of which are cheaper and better than TVRs) then go for elastic bands and jelly instead ie anything is better than TVRs own stuff.

Springs are cheapish.
So if you can then act now - otherwise you will always regret it. Cancel the order for new dampers. Order AVOs from APM and keep the TVR springs (or get new ones ordered from Joolz) OR even better order Nitrons and new springs and get em fitted by APM. The first option is cheapest - 4 x avos = £400 plus VAT, You already have the springs (or a couple of hundred if you get Joolz springs) and then mimimal labour (£30ph) from APM to fit. Save yourself a few hundred quid and get better suspension. Or spend the same as TVR parts and get Nitrons - you then have a car that can out handle some of the best handling cars on the road and track. Sorry to harp on - feel fre to ignore me!!! You know it makes sense.

Air Con works ok, but hot air comes from vents under the dash and up to windscreen... this is without heater on.
If I switch heater on more hot air comes out... also hot air thru gear stick and handbrake surrounds...
any ideas?![]()
Cheers
Easy peasy - you can turn the vents off under the dash on passenger and drivers side. the windscreen vents can either be plugged or the likes of APM can modify the pipes.
Your aircon might need making cooler ie either regas and pressure test or just temp switching.
Should not get hot air from gear stick and handbrake - sounds like something needs fixing. Again APM is your man.
