I can only assume from the advert that this is an engine swap, or is it an accident damaged car?

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/536006.htm

If it's another engine swap, I guess it's only going to make the AJP cars more desirable in the future.

I understand, some of the arguments for a yank V8 but it really goes against the grain. frown

Visions of the Stag come to mind. The Triumph engined cars now tend to command a premium. smile

Have a look at the Cerb in the classifieds that sold for £9000

I'm guessing it came from that ?

Ah I know Brendan .. he was talking at one point of doing a wide bodied Cerbie with a Dodge Viper engine in it .. this maybe the start of that project, or seeing as he dabbles in a few crash damaged TVRs it might just be a breaker for spares ..

If I had the money now I'd buy it and stick it to one side. In fact, given the scarcity of 4.5 AJPs I'd like to collect them.

Lottery lottery, please shine upon me.

Viper does not even make significant power over the Ls, if i'm right? And HEAVY man! You would have to cut the front chassis rail to get that mother in too, but different i spose.

Well that's what he was talking about last time I saw him. Maybe I remember it wrong but I remember it was a pretty unusual interesting sounding transplant (putting aside my intense bias towards keeping cerbs AJP8 for a moment)
