Advice please

Are the engine mounts bolted AND welded to the chassis? I have undone the bolts, but they're not going anywhere. I assume they're corroded on, but just to be sure before I start hammering , thought I'd ask. Pic below:



And also, is the nylon bush/thingy that is arrowed in the pic, supposed to be free moving up and down the shaft? Or secured to either the left or right? The blue spot is the central rack type thing. Can't think of the name Pic below:

I've just hd a look in my 'Box of Bits' and I've got some nice new shiny Engine mounts in there, so they must come off.

yes they come off, got some left over from my conversion if any one wants them. The white plastic thingy is a lock stop, and yes it does float.

Ah, thanks chaps.

I shall get on with that next weekend, and add them to an increasing pile of bits that need shot blasting and powder coating.

Just trying to decide whether to either make my own blast cabinet (Frosts one), or take all the bits somewhere to get them done
