Just fitted Decats

Fitted them on saturday. The exhaust setup now is as follows; ACT manifolds, ACT adjustable non-linked decats and some kind of sports exhaust.

I am very pleased with the result! It is now quieter at motorway speeds as there is no resonance from the cats coming through into the cabin and it sounds epic when you give it some beans. The pops and bangs are loud and prolific but no idea if it spits flames or not.

Did you fit the bullet silencers then as the usual decat pipes from ACT are straight pipes.

The back boxes came on the car, they are some kind of sports pipe but have no idea what make.

I fitted decat pipes (unlinked) two weeks ago. Some nice pops and bangs after 4 1/2 - 5k revs. I know it spits flames from time to time as a mate did notice.

Overall the car sounds much nicer, much more crisp. Plus having the cats off my backside is not a bad thing!

Ah no - I was thinking of the:
CTSJ10E Cerbera V8 cherry bomb decats, these have bullet silencers for deeper sound, fully adjustable in length

Ah no - I was thinking of the:
CTSJ10E Cerbera V8 cherry bomb decats, these have bullet silencers for deeper sound, fully adjustable in length

I looked at those but did not think them neccessary, if I remember correctly they are quite a bit more expensive than the normal decats.
