You can use black silicon sealant from any DIY store or the stuff the coachbuilders use is called Sikaflex. That stuff sticks anything like s
t to a blanket.
The stuff from DIY stores seems to be a glossy black texture. I really want the Matt stuff. Where can I get Sikaflex from and does it come in a tube?

The Sikaflex I got was white. I'm sure there's black stuff out there too, but I didn't get the option. As an aside, I found Sikaflex a bit of a pain to work with - it's quite liquid at first (and not very adhesive), and sticks to absolutely everything, which means its very easy it end up with it covering everything within a 5m radius of whatever you're working on!WRT the DIY shop stuff - there are two kinds. There's black bathroom sealant which is more glossy, and there external window sealant which is a duller colour. Both tend to dull a bit after initial application anyway.

you can also use this to re-seal the cam covers, as they do not have gaskets. Make sure you do not over use it however...Mr F
