Had to collect Cerbera from dealers this morning, after another repair, and it was monsoon weather all the way home (75 miles). Carpets in front and rear foot-wells are soaking wet now. It probably stood outside at dealers last week and over weekend so not necessarily just the drive back.

Where does the water get in? There doesn't look to be any obvious entry points, though the door windows are a possible culprit.

So, have other on here had the same problem and managed to solve it?

Any suggestions would be most helpful.

PS It's a 97 car if it makes any difference.

Check the sealant around the brake fluid reservoir as this is normally where it gets in on the drivers side.

Take the panel off around the wipers, and silicon all the holes and panels going in and out of the bulkhead, including the panel that gains access for the wiper wheel boxes.

I was going to silicon mine in this afternoon after I washed the car!

But it bloody started to rain again!

My door seals are not very good at the join. Can you get genuine new ones or is it a case of sending a piece to one of the kit car suppliers?

I will also check the bung. Thanks for the heads up.

Can I give you all a bit of advice that`d save you loads of time...park the cerb on a slope. I had the same problem and have now cured it by parking the rear wheels on a few lengths of 3x2. Problem solved, no more leaks!

The car is garaged when with me but I think the problem was caused by it being at the dealers for about 10 days.

The slope method needs the front or rear higher?
