will the T5 box out of a chim/griff fit straight into a cerb 4.2 (i assume the bellhousing is different.

Likewise is the chim/griff diff the same as that of a cerb 4.2 - non hydratrack version?

What have you done Jes?

Or, reading between the lines are you thinking about playing around with ratios?

That's my idea. biggrin

The diffs' are a straight swap as far as I can assertain. I have a couple of hydratrak diffs and they were the same as my old 500 Chim'.

Hi Tim,

just wanted some spares really so I bought a diff and T5 box off a low mileage chim 450. My gearbox has just started to lose the synchromesh on 5th so I thought I would keep a second so that I can swap it in a rush between events if I need to.

If they dont fit I can alwys resell them

I am away next week so good luck at Goodwood

Tim,

don't put a hydra track in your car- they really are awful things BTW how do you tell a hydra track from the outside - i mean without driving it when it becomes very obvious
