new decat pipes

i have just fit new decat pipes to my 4.2 cerb and they are so good :-) wot a nice sound and it now has flames lol, thing is i am thinking i may need a re map ??? i have put the cheeper two peace ones on not the linked ones.anyone done the re map with them?? dose anyone think i need it ?? thanks

I thought the same when I fitted mine.

There was a horrible flat-spot between 1700 and 2000 revs but it actually disappeared after a few weeks of driving.

It was suggested that this was due to the ECU "teaching" itself to run with the decat pipes in place.

I'm not sure if this is the case or not but mine is fine now.
