drivers door won't open - odd fix

Might work for you, might not.
My drivers door internal button has not been working for 3 or 4 months now. All working outside, but press the iterior button and nothing. I have been using the emergency red door pull.
However, today I was sat in a traffic queue and decided to adjust my mirrors for something to do. I noticed that the pointer bar was pointing at the left hand mirror, so I started with that one. Then did the right, then put the indicator bar into the middle neutral poistion.
Don't know quite why I did it, but I then pressed the interior door open button and hey presto it worked, and has carried on working since.
Don't know how long it will last, but a nice easy fix is always welcome.
