Hi folks. Finally upgraded to Cerbdom six days ago and it's already turned into possibly the world's most expensive drive ornament. Okay, it's a *frikking* lovely drive ornament but that's not making me feel any better. hehe

Long story short, various electrical maladies have left me with a flat battery. I've eventually got into the car to charge it up but now the plip won't disarm the immobiliser. Is there some kind of reset i should be doing or is this something else to add to the list of things to be attended to under the warranty?

Give Carl Baker a call on 07720 723407 what he doesn't know about TVR alarms is not worth knowing!

Sure I read on here that as soon as the power is restored you have to press the pliper and hold it pressed for a few seconds to reset it.

You need to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds.

Hey DS how you doing, glad to hear you got one (we need pics and details asap) - as has been said, after flat battery or battery disconection you need to resync the blipper. Disconnect battery again for 30+secs then when you reconnect it, press and hold blipper. All being well it should cycle through a series of beeps and flashes.

Do note, when you reconnect battery the car will try to lock itself so either leave a door or the boot open in case the resync fails. thumbup

Thanks for all your suggestions folks; the trusted 'disconnect and reconnect the battery' routine worked a treat and she's up and running again now thumbup

And thanks for the pointer to Carl Baker too - I only got one plipper with the car so I think a trip to get two plips coded will be on the agenda soon for safety's sake!

Looks like I'm developing a list of niggles but hopefully should all be sorted under the warranty but I'm sure I'll be popping in for advice again soon!

wavey Hi TC, yeah I'll get some pictures up as soon as I've been out with the camera! Usual lame excuses about lack of internet access apply I'm afraid!
