I'm yet to post any pics so here we go....
Discussion
Hello all. I have not posted any pics so I thought I'd give it ago seeing as it was a nice day and I took a couple of quick snaps earlier.
Firstly a quick pic of my Cerb and my Fathers Chim

A couple from today - I nipped up to Donington Park (I live in Donington). These later pics are with yellow calipers and and also lowered slightly after it sat quite high on the new Gaz Golds when I first purchased. Looking better now in my opinion.

And my fave pic so far...

A few more here which I'll keep updated if anyone is interested: http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j227/robsisson/?...
Im still amazed as to how many people turn their heads to look at my car (which has been named Tamara the TVR

Looking good Rob. It does look better now you've had it lowered. How are you finding driving it?
Hi PaulI hope your well?
Yeah it was quite high before, never really settled anymore than when I took it from you so decided I'd drop it slightly, sits much better now. Decided to go yellow on the cailipers, not everyones taste but I prefer it so that's all that matters.
As for driving it, great fun. It's amazing how almost everybody turns and looks at you as you go by
I think people are more shocked when then see someone so young driving a TVR
(not that I feel young anymore). No major issues so far. I managed to go over a pothole and snap the top mount bracket holding the diff in place. The gauge still reads very hot but never had an issue (will look at this soon).
I've also had a front end respray to get rid of a few stone chips and that has really finished it off - looks very tidy. Going to purchase a new badge for the bonnet to finish that off fully.
Then I just need to change the Clutch Slave Cylinder - Other than the occasional top up I've had no issues with this, although it is now next on my list.
All in all, very happy

I don't suppose you had any C spanners you used with the Gaz Golds you want to sell?

Wow mate, your 21! I want one of these cars, what's the best way to insure? Well done. I seriously want a Cerb...
Im 22 now mate. So old
Elephant insured me, 1400 which I think is a good price for a Cerb at this age
I have had to work hard though to get where I am now but worth it everytime I start the engine

I think some insurance companies can just be difficult when it comes to young drivers of any description. Last week I needed to get insured on my old man's s
treon c5, but alas was declined by his insurance company. Not surprising really when you consider its a 115bhp diesel- I'd probably better get a bit more driving experience with my TVR before i have a go!
