Maybe a wiki would be easier, that way no-one needs to copy and paste the same info all the time as they just modify their contribution...?

Umm interesting HarryWs Cerb - It is a 4.2 that has been rebuilt into a 4.5 right?

Does it count as a 4.2, a 4.5 or as a modified? (extra category... 4.2 modified into 4.5... tongue out)

maybe add ro_butler 401bhp 4.5 RR

I'll take temporary top slot for the 4.2's, least until Longbow (and no doubt some others) turn up.

wavey mike

start the post again, but at the top it will ask discussion poll or wiki and just select wiki, then copy and paste your first post into the main screen.

it will be easier for people to change without lots of mistakes happening.

You could consider that it is a RR version of the later 4.2's. In that they are 4.5's with 4.2 intakes.
But to be fair it really is a 4.5 breathing through the restrictive 4.2 intakes as to call it a 4.2 is like saying Brummies LS is a modified 4.2 hehe.

Sounds like a plan............

Unless a more central locaton is preferred and then Joolz could considered?

I think to keep things as they always have been that Charlie's place should be the one to use. Most people are southern based anyway so it's also probably geographically better to use SRR smile I can bring the buns thoughwink

I reckon this would turn into a cracking Meet / Day Out???

How many people would be up for this?

We are thinking of Sat 25th or Sun 26th of October, I need to find out how much the chap with the corner weights wants as well.

I would love to go...I might even be ready by then with a car and everything by then...

Edited - just realised thats only 3 months away, and I don't expect the engine bits to land till middle of next month, so probably no chance of being ready in time frown

Edited 2 - was just thinking that another measure we could use is power to weight ratio...
Really I would like to see a torque to weight ratio (by torque I am not really after peak torque so much as the area under the torque curve) I think could be a much better measure of how fast a car would be in real world conditions, after all how fast you accelerate is your torque overcoming the drag and adding momentum to the cars mass (kinetic energy/mass gets you to how fast you going to accelerate), but I reckon its a difficult measure to actually produce...
