Hi, Cerb failed on a few niggles,nearside front wheel bearing, headlight alignment and beam pattern although glass marked OK, and rear No Plate light , should this shine through the plate as the bulbs are behind the plate ?

Yes. The rear plate should be translucent.

Thanks, thought so, mine is black on the back. will see if it comes off or will get another made up.

There have been some threads about plates before - if you are searching for a supplier - I got mine from Fancyplates - you can order online and the service was speedy .

Yep, very good service. You need to tell them that it's for a TVR 'shine through' in the extra comments field and it has to be a 'fancy plate' not a standard one in the selector.

Thanks for the info, will get it ordered. Wheel bearing next, looks as though this has to come complete with hub.
