headlamp conversions, which one?
Discussion
Never seen a 350 conversion.
The speed 6 has two main lights and one small sidelight.
Then there is the conversion that only has the two main lights, and no small sidelight. Which I quite like.
Then there is the speed12 conversion which has 4 lights in one cluster. Same as the Sp6, but has the indicator in the same cluster on the wing. Some say its too much on the standard Cerbera wing. As the sp12 has falred wings.
Thats all I know, and you probably know all that anyway.

personally, I'd like to see what they look like on a Cerbera before I fitted them myself. has anyone else done it?

Your choice, but mine is leave 'em alone keep it as it was meant to be.
i agree, i dont think i've ever seen a light conversion that improved the looks of a car. if you're feeling the need to blow some cash, have your front end resprayed, it'll transform the car. :-)shake n bake said:

hope you get to give her a good blast out soon!
my 2 pen'arth FWIW on the issued raised here, IMO Cerbera's look better than Chims/Griffs with blended lights as its a fuller less complicated shape, some can give it a very sinister look, esp the later models IMO
I agree that the modern cerbs with blended lights look great. As do the older ones with blended lights. My opinion is that they should be kept original. So older ones with 'MG' lights (like mine) should stay that way. Just don't really like the idea of people hacking up Cerbs when there are so few around.
With the prices as they are if you want a cerb with blended lights, sell yours and buy a modern one. There can't be too much of a difference? Few grand maybe, but an original older cerb still looks like it should and you get your wish.

yeah had some discussion with the guy who is selling these on ebay but he didnt inspire confidence in wether they would actually fit, he has never acually done the conversion on a Cerb, not even sure if he has done a Chimaera and my local bodyshop weren't happy with what he said he was going to supply as he said I would just get a pod moulded from the T350 not one that was actually a direct fit to the Cerb, when I questioned him about the differences in shapes of the front end of the T350 and Cerbera he stopped replying to my emails, has anyone else used him or had any experience of his work? anyway lost confidence in them now, I am considering the mark 3 Chimaera lens cover headlamps, anyone done this to a Cerb yet? can it be done?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-T350-HEADLIGHT-CONVERSIO...

No by all accounts the Cerb front is a fair bit longer in the headlamp area than the Chim,I thought they were the same until I showed up in my Cerb at my local bodyshop and they had a Chim and its way different, its amazing how close you think they look until you actually see them side by side so I'm not sure it can be done, need to find someone doing the Chimaera kit and see if they think it can be done, know anybody?
