only just a cerb!!! did some work 4 a chap he is along the south coast and has under wraps this finished project!!! i wasnt meant to see it but he lightened up when i spoke about tvr in general... its a stunning car in a candy and flip flop finish.. heard it running but he wouldnt take it out it seems to be top secret for some reason perhaps a surprise show stopper in very near future. he did say that two other guys from around surrey area were involved... so come on who are you.. im still working at his place and would love to sneak a camera in but thats not really on is itl

its got flared out rear wings with massive wheels and the pipes come out along side ot the car. air vents and scoops every where.. said it should be around 875 bhp
any one know more of this... def a one off mean mean to say the very least.. oh apparantly street legal notb a dragster !!! wow

Although it sounds interesting I don't think you really ought to be saying anything about it if he wants it to remain a secret, moreso if you are doing paid work for him.

I don't know whether that's the Phoenix, but if it is I'm really looking forward to hearing more when the owner decides to go public.

The Speed 12 rework perhaps, as alluded to in Sprint?

Just a thought.

The 800 bhp seems a little 'reserved' to be Ash. He'd be spinning the BS up to 1000 bhp. biggrin

i also got the feeling that one of the surrey guys is coming across early eve.. poss a test drive after the rush hour... i know where i will be around 8pm ... any one around the m3 m27 junctions??

are there any shows or meets this week end down south of the country ish.. cos i have a feeling in my water!!!!

Whereabouts on the South Coast? I was thinking of going for a drive this evening and I'm in Bournemouth, probably heading up to Ringwood and maybe Rowbhams.

Sounds like Ash BUT I think he is focussed on his ricer engined Cerb.
So it could be the Phoenix with the Cerb engine binned and a yank engine instead.
Are you sure you arent just advertising the place that is doing the work for Ash? They specialise in Jap and Yank engine transplants (and state they hate TVR engines).

I could be wrong and it could be someone who has simply dropped the lump into a Cerb and added a blower. But.....?

Is it the guy from Eastenders, you know the one who looks like a bulldog and who's method of acting is to wear a white tee shirt for a happy scene and a black tee shirt for an angry scene?

Where is Campbell based, wasn't he doing a supercharged version but then I also seem to remember him selling off the supercharger bits - maybe this is the evolution, dropping out the AJP for some monster yank power.

It's not the Speed 12 project. Simply not that advanced yet. Also it isn't the Phoenix at least I'm 99% certain it isn't.

I can definitly confrim it is not the Phoenix as it is sat in the corner of our yard in primer minus the engine. Infact the hybrid turbo unit is acting as a nice ornament in our reception area biggrin

From what I gather Ash has not made contact with this company since last November(I started at beginning of January) & has not been contactable by any of the telephone, email or address details we have.

There was a thread back in, I think January/February time, where somebody posted that Ash was in prison for GBH, this was then contradicted by another poster. We have had several people enquire about purchasing the Phoenix but do not know who to send the details to.

Techincally don't you own it if its been on your property a certain amount of time without being claimed?

Certain a year of rented space in my garden would end up costing more than the car was worth. smile

HAS any one else seen this yet have kept out of things for a few days as felt the topic was going off track... surely it must be out in the open by now as last w/ end i believe had a trip to goodwood! wasnt there but some people were but they are not saying much on here!!! any way i no longer have to travel to the owner.. as finished work. so now im out the loop ( wasnt really in it i suppose) oh believe he is a pilot.. but again only reading between the lines.. i will be watching and reading with interest.. question does "sprint " mag get previews on such things, hard to believe its so so quite...
