What sort of cost am I looking at to have it fixed? Normally use APM but I am based in south east london at the moment so do not know any local places. Such a shame as this weather is great for driving.

Go to APM, don't even consider anywhere else, even if they're closer geographically! I've tried other places and still travel from the south coast to Liphook, I think that speaks for itself.

Phone Andy, he'll give you a fair price and an idea of how long it'll take.

Gaskets are around £160 a pair, if memory serves. Then you have the labour on top, to take the engine out, as it has to come out to get the front cover off to get the heads off.

Cheers tim, will take your advice and stick with Andy, have left a message with him. Sounds like a bit of a job but least I know its in good hands. He did a great job on my new gear box in april!

He's a great indi' trustworthy and offers great VFM in my opinion.

He knows a thing or two about the Cerb' as well.
