Looks like 40 to 42 cars on the grid and 22 in class B with the Cerb next Staurday at Brands in the GT Cup on the GP circuit.

I'll be running the truck down on Thursday to get a good space in the Paddock and to bed the car in at testing on Friday.

Saturdays races are 12.30 and 17.00 if you are about?

Looking to improve on the 5th in class at Snett!

If anybody is coming down, say hello!

Hey Jonny, Saturday's a no go for me sadly, but might be around and about on Friday - if you are there testing then may dip my head in for a hello if you and Andy won't be too busy. Best of luck either way.

Nick, thanks for the thought, please wish Carrie Happy Birthday from Pam and I and we hope the head is OK now? See you soon John

Sinclair, Friday is a GP Test/Practice Day as the racing is a Saturday so you should be able to get in, you'll find me in the paddock near the GT Cup hospitality suite, Cheers John

What time will you be there Friday. Is it free entry on Friday and can you just drive into the pits?

The GT Class testing is on at 9 am for an hour and then every 2 hours, I'll do all three sessions but, dependant on weather plan to familiarise in the first session, put about 4 hard laps in in the second with about 3 to warm up and 1 to cool down and scrub a new set of tyres in in the last.

There shouldn't be a problem on entry and you'll be able to drive all the way down to the Paddock albeit it will be very busy as most of us are taking our lorries down on Thursday and I know that the test is virtually full with GT, VdeV and others. You can leave you car just above on the hill after the Pentagon.

Cheers

Hi Jonny, Myself and the smaller Piers are keen to come down, need to do a little organising with our evenining to get to see the last race.

I love Brands recently watched the British GT Championship, the fezzas, lambos, Astons and Vipers made a great sound but to see a Cerb going at full chat would be special.

In your opinion where is the best viewing point at Brands for the indy circuit?

We'll be racing on the GP circuit, so up through the woods and back down onto Clearways.

I like to listen to cars on full "chat", Paddock Bend, Hailwood and Druids are fun as you see lots of action in terms of trying to overatke and positioning but I like Clearways, especially on the GP circuit where you come out of the woods, get on the brakes and then back on the gas at Clark for the start finish straight.

With 42 cars running on a rolling start, the joggling for position at Paddock will be great on the first lap.

Or you could go to Druids and watch everyone climb all over eachother to get around to sneak an inside line at Graham Hill, you can then run 100 yards to watch everyone giving it their all down Pilgrim's drop, i'm on the limit in fourth and into fifth there up to 7000, so that must be 160?

See you there!
