40 car grid plus a Cerb on Saturday!
Discussion
Just got back to my place at 10.30, 20 minutes from Brands, having setup the awning etc.. as it looks like a changeable weekend! Look foward to seeing those that are coming down!
Goodluck Itsallyellow Mike at Silverstone, and yes 41 cars bundling into Paddock will be interesting!!

The Dunlop and BMW guys loved my team!!!
One minute I was Jonny No Mates
and the next minute I had the biggest team of All!!!
Thanks so much to all of you who came today, Billy, Mark, Jon and Friend, Sinclair, Tuscan man (sorry forgot your name, but see you tomorrow!) and of course the Arbrec Clan. I certainly have the shinyest wheels in the paddock!
Mark sorry for poisoning you with the brake cleaner!!
The Cerb is really picking up speed, got to say I hadn't passed so many cars in practice before in this series so it is obviously going in the right direction. Heat and then long cold stretches on the discs are causing a crazing of the front disc surfaces, they look pretty superficial and both Andy APM and Richard Moore told me that this was down to the above.
Weather looks very changeable for tomorrow, so lets hope for at least one race in the dry.
Again thanks to all!
Cheers

Qualified 25th out of the 41, very litte between 10th to 34th.
Had a poor start and fell back to 30th but managed to fight my way through the neverending red sea of Ferrari's up to 20th. Great racing and I appear to have quite a lot of red paint on my bonnet and every panel of the left hand side!! Did get up to 16th at one stage but decided to drive through the gravel at Paddock bend to fill the car up with dust!!
Second race was wet and I was cautious to start with as I have done very little in the wet, once I fathomed the amount of grip I got in the mix of same group of Ferraris and Porsches as before but managed to scramble up to 17th.
Pleased wth the weekend, great fun and really good comradery from the other racers, the Cerb is now recognised as a real competitor to the Ferrari's and is fighting in this weight with another 30 bhp allowed!
Thanks again to "The Pit Crew" on Friday and all the supporters on Saturday, I hope you found the racing exciting, quite a spectacle having that many cars on the grid, the first race was probably a better spectators session the wet takes the edge off the chances that you can take!
Cheers

Sounds like you had a great time Jonny! Keeping the Cerbie flag flying along with Mike at Sillystone (front row again ... how long before they rein the power to weight back on the class B and C cars there I wonder?) .. bet you can't wait for the next engine Andy builds for you though, I suspect it will address those extra 30hp
