Air Con

I am another potential owner looking to take the plunge. I am looking for a S6 - before anyone say "they're rubbish, you want a 4.2 or 4.5" dont both, i have driven all of them and the S6 suits me best.

The car i am going to have a look at has air con - the owner says it works but it isnt fantastic and is generally notorius for not been very effective. My question is; if properly charged can it be effective, also what car does the a/c pump come from?

I reckon mine's as good as it gets & it will cope on a hot humid day. But if the suns blaring down, I can feel the heat coming through the glass & it gets too warm.

On that couple of days of hot sunshine that we recently had, I had the windows down & the air con on, so you get a nice blast to your face & a bit of fresh air to boot.

The side windows don't feel like they've any UV protection at all....In fact they're like magnifying glasses

Yeh the blast of air that comes out of it.

But does it keep the whole car cold on a hot day, or just the bits of your body where the cold air is hitting hitting you ?

Its so cold you get ice on the inside of the glass

It copes well but like you say the heat will come through the glass....

does anyone know when the a/c unit comes from? - i think in the griffs/chims it comes from a Range Rover. Is this the case on a Cerbera?
