While mine is off the road yet again (throttle pot has died now!!) I was wondering whereabouts the cold air fan resides. My air con is nice and cold, but the blower, even on full power, is pathetic.
It may be the switch itself mind, as sometimes it seems to give some air, and other times you can't really tell if it's on or not. I only get decent air con if I'm hammerng it, thus forcing outside air in, but for some reason 90mph in a built up area is frowned upon, apparently!

The cold air fan is behind a fiberglass panel in the drivers footwell. If you pull back the carpet on the right hand side it's sandwiched between the panel and the wing. If your a/c works well just check you havn't got the thermostatic switch set to high causing it to cut out. This can also be found floating around by the drivers feet coming from behind the fan cover panel!

Might not be your fan. The ducting tube is prone to splitting and coming off the connectors. Get under the steering wheel and you'll see some black corrogated tubes. Make sure that they are fitted on properly and that they have no splits/holes.It may be the switch itself mind, as sometimes it seems to give some air, and other times you can't really tell if it's on or not. I take it you've twisted the knob on the outlet to let the air out?

Nah, I think it's the fan, or the fan controlling electrics, as the hot air works fine... great for adding a little extra heat to the cockpit on these hot summer days I take it you've twisted the knob on the outlet to let the air out?

Well there's different ducting for hot and cold.
But if you just turn on the ignition without starting the car, you should be able to hear the fans running clearly.
Switch on hot, hear fan. Switch off then switch on cold, adjust knob and see if you hear the fan speed change.
If its not running at all it might just be clogged by a leaf or similar bit of crud.
