What should i look out for??
Discussion
As you may already know im going for my cerb next week and trading my car for it.
Is there anything i should look out for that could cost alot of money?? Its just had engine rebuild and new Chassis (due to slight Corrosion, previous owner was very picky aparently)
What minor problems could i come accross that arent to worry about but may look bad, but easy repair, if you get my drift.
cheers
Alan
Edit: forgot to say, rebuild and chassis were at TVR factory, blackpool and all docs are there with it.

Check the Door release in the Boot works - Open the boot, reach in past the fuse box and give the handle a good hard tug. A broken cable is a pain to replace.
CHeck the emergency door releases on both sides work (in the sills inside the car)
Check bonnet release operates nice and smoothly.
CHeck windows drop when you press the door release button - and close up tight when the door is shut.
Open windows fully, close the doors nd check they close when you press the 'blipper'.
Check all steering wheel buttons work.
Check all wiper functions work - 1 press = interval wipe, 2 presses = slow, 3 presses = fast, 4th press back to off.
Drivers side seat us usually a bit tatty on the right hand side, side support.
Check all carpets in the footwell are dry.
And when your driving it back, when the Fuel guage reads between the 1/4 mark and Empty, treat that as empty and fill her up, until you get used to where 'Empty' really is, my empty is just before it reaches the empty mark.

do you mean the boot release inside the car door? or the door release inside the boot?? if not how do i check the boot release from inside the boot? Please explain.Thank you for advice
As the doos are electric, there's an emergency mechanical door release in the boot to get you into the car if the battery has gone flat. Its a red handle that you should find inside the fuse box compartment on the off side of the boot (just rip off the velcro cover).
