Just taken the Cerbie on its first track day - an extremely rainy one at Colerne. Excellent day out and car was perfect all day until the very last few laps when changing down from 3rd to 2nd became a bit of a problem.

Trickled it back to the pits in 3rd and left it to cool for 20 minutes - not much better. Nursed it home double de-clitching for every change (and I'm useless at toe and heel so that wasn't much fun!). Tried it again this morning and still no better.

Clutch feels much lighter and bite point is lower in the travel. 1st gear has pretty much gone, but can engage 2/3/4/5, up and down, if I match the revs. Reverse seems OK if I go through 5th as normal.

I need to book it in for a service at Dulfords anyway, so they'll be having a look. From the look of previous threads, it could be any number of things from seals to fingers to slave/master, etc. Just wondered if the particular syptoms rang any beels with anyone??

Hopefully a simple fix could be to bleed the clutch. After your track day the fluid could have overheated and boiled so air will be traped in the system. The bleed screw is on the end of a braided pipe under the bonnet on the drives side of the bulkhead. Good luck.

That sounds good! Won't have a chance this week as I'm working away from home. But thanks for the tip smile
