Which cerb and why??
Discussion
You'll find that almost everyone over here will say the V8 is the only one to have as the S6 isnt a 'real' motor
V8's are apparently a bit more harsh to drive, cant speak from experience myself, and the S6's are a bit more refined.
Im getting the S6 with what i do believe has the upgraded blue top engine. But a few people have said its not a 'proper' cerb.
V8's more reliable than the S6 also.

The best thing to do is, rather than listen to everyone telling you what they love about the cars, actually go out and test drive a few, and find out what you think.
You will find they will differ quite alot from car to car, ie: nervous and skittish, to planted. One will pop and bang more than the other. And thats just with the same engined ones. There will be cars of different states of tune, and different previous owners/driving traits. And these all affect the cars nature.

I had this dilemna. Fortunately when TMS were still around I managed to wangle elongated test drives in all three including a long weekend with the Speed 6. The speed 6 virtually blew it's engine the day I handed it back..........Just popped over from the chim forum as i am thinking of buying a cerb and would like to pick your brains as to which is the best model to go for and why.

Anyway I ended up lumping for the 4.2 as I found it more responsive low down, although to be honest there isn't much difference. My advice would be to avoid speed six engined cars, the V8 is far more robust. Speak to Jools at track car no-one knows Cerbs better than him.....
