I wonder how many Cerb forum users also check the General TVR forum so don't flame me for a repost:

Thoughts with Dom and crew for quick recovery.

Bad news - I've never used TVR Power, but have heard nothing but good things about them, so hope they get back up and running soon.

They have my engine there. Was supposed to be getting it back this weekend to get it back in the car next week. Waiting to here if it is OK. May be on the look out for a new one.

It's not very well is it?

Hope it's not as bad as it looks on that film.

Hopefully it is 'just' smoke damage and that the water did not make it inside.

Terrible news, I am glad all at TVR power are ok and hope that many of these cars are fine. To those that have lost thier cars in this, I cant imagine what you're going through, I hope a speedy resolution back into TVR's is sorted sharpish. Heart breaking stuff. frown

Gc - is that your Cerb in the clip then?? it doesnt look as bad as the Griff above it for some reason? possibly ok?? I feel genuinely upset having watched that. frown

I'm sorry to see any TVR damaged (other than the wedges) and I truly wish you the best of luck with that stunning Cerbera.

However unless the car is a member of your family I'd be looking to try to get insurance to write it off. The smell of plastic burning permiates everything and is impossible to remove with any sucess.

Wow, this is aweful. frown

I used to live not far from TVR Power and popped in for a chat not long after I first got my Cerb. The chap I spoke to knew his stuff and was very helpful in trying to find me some track silencers.

What a shame.

Feel really sorry for those who's cars were damaged too.

The griff has heat and smoke damage, the Cerb, as it was lower will not have suffered as much.

Fingers crossed for all.

Very unfortunate incident and sorry to hear about the damage to the cars and premises. Does anyone know if all of the legacy TVR spares that Power purchased when TVR folded is intact? There must have been a lot of rare AJP service items in that bundle.

I hadnt asked that question but it has been on my mind. We often debate the availability of spares post the factory closing. I understand that power have lots of rare parts.
