Fitted them myself a couple of weeks ago, only done about 90 miles on them so far they seem a little coarse on adjustment but are very nicely finished, fit without rubber bushes which must be better and I have fitted them 'upside down' time will tell if they are a quality product as my previous AVO's had a life of about a year.

P.S. I thought they are made by Nitron??

Can you elaborate a little please Pete? I'm a bit numptyish when it comes to shocks.V8CER said:

Do you mean fit without OE bushes? If so, why?V8CER said:

They are. Just a budget kind of version of the 1k quid ones. The coarse adjustment is my seat of the pants interpretation of a single click having a tangable effect as opposed to my previous AVOs that a single click was not so obvious in its effect.
They are mounted with spacer tubes and mono bearings which gives positive location of the shock ( one of my AVOs migrated along its mounting bush) and yet does not appear to be any harsher in the vibration / ride department.
Mine are fitted with 400lb front and 360lb rear springs ( I have the thicker anti-roll bars front and rear)I am still fine tuning the camber/toe and ride height but am pleased so far. It seems to have better traction and a good ride I should get the fine tuning done next week will let you know what I think then?

With the Cerbs chassis complete and suspension parts now finished, I'm now waiting on the bearings I have just ordered from the states. Which means the rebuild is almost imminent.
So the shocks have to be ordered very soon. And with only one Cerbera feedback to go on, I think its going to have to be Protechs. As more people have had them and they have had time to iron out any niggles. Shame, as the exterior finished appears pretty good on the RR's.
I guess there aren't that many Cerbs left with original shocks. Not suprisingly.
