alarm help

so i come out of the supermarket this morming and i cant open the cerb the remote control wont switch off the alarm or open the doors.

so i get in using 'the method' and manage to start the car with the immobiliser key driving all the way home with the alarm going nuts.

so does anyone know how to test the alarm fob(ive tried new batteries at the supermarket).

ive also disconnected the main unit and waited to no avail,i suspect the fob but of course cant really test it. any ideas.
