new cerb owner!!
Discussion
Thanks still very new to me but have loved every second of driving her. Bill her last owner looked after it very very well all looks clean and up to scratch and after spending many hours on here reading all the reports of what can go wrong (and sure they can) Bill gave me two whole pages of what to do and what not to do scared the pants off me and though i must be mad to buy this but the look the noise I was hooked and reckon could be for life. Hope to get together with you guys when back so if anything happening down South from the 19th Sept to 12 Oct please let me know. Oxford area?
Thanks all and hope when i get back to you with questions and problems you are as helpfull as the rest of the threads I read about

I was at the Cambs meeting in the "pink" Cerbera. I failed to meet any other Cerbera owners but other TVR owners made us feel welcome. Shame about the weather.
My evening was spoiled by phone calls informing me one of my sons had had an accident that had totaled his and another car (minor injuries to all involved but big shunt by all accounts). His second major prang in 2 years of driving so he is now going to be walking / public transport.
Hope to make the next one to swap experiences and gain some knowledge.

Lovely car, great colour.
For meets there's Oxfordshires TVR Club - http://www.tvrccoxford.co.uk/
or you could pop along to the three counties lot who meet last Sunday in the month at The Puesdown Inn on the A40 near Compton Abdale GL54 4DN.

I will certainly be along to other meetings and look forward to a chat.
Described as "Red" on the log book but a metallic Plum colour actually but my shoulders are broad enough to not give a fig if others call it pink (as has happened a couple of times).
Son is fine but the fact that he now has no car and no chance of being able to fund another is dawning. I paid for the last two but enough is enough and insurance will be nigh on impossible to get now as it was his fault both times.

Didn't we meet Storer? It would be very out of character for me not to track down another Cerbera owner! Hi Mr M/Colin.
There were six Cerbera's you could have got Tactile about at tonights meeting of the Cambs TVRCC.
Could have been seven if you had found you way out of Upwell and Outwell. Plus there were only a few roundabouts for you to negotiate!
Hi Andy\Nige.. At risk of ruining the origins of the thread, yes lots of roundabout practice in MK. Got to be maps as well for the time being as the cigar lighter is still detached. Glad you had a good one. There were six Cerbera's you could have got Tactile about at tonights meeting of the Cambs TVRCC.

Storer, I was admiring your car too.
Also, I have a 19 year old, he wrote his 1st car off the day after his test (£2k lost from the bank of dad) and wrote his next one off a couple of months back (his money this time). So, I had to nip out and get another quick. I know just how you feel, but it's most important they're not hurt too much.
I'm told they get better after about 35....
