Right then guys and gals, iv been out in the cerb a couple of times this week and got some strange looks off people, the kind like, 'look at him in daddies car' however i work hard for my money and wanted something special to show for it and one thing that i have not done is had a car bought for me, everything i have i bought with my money.
So my question is since i get these looks is: What is the age range of drivers of Cerbs
Start off im 24

Hi Alan
I wanted a Cerb the first time I saw one in 1998, I would have been 33, but it was love at first sight. By the time I'd saved the money to buy a nice one it was April 2005 and I was almost 40. Over 3 years down the line now and I've never looked back.
If a 24 year old bloke buys "something special" with his own money he really shouldn't let these cynical people worry him. From reading this forum and from personal experience the positive comments far outweigh the negative ones and the latter are usually caused by envy.
I spoke to a 35 year old guy at our monthly meet on Sunday who owns a 1999 Cerb. He revealed to me that he'd paid £5475 for his insurance. This is just one of the kind of barriers younger people are willing to overcome in order to own one, such is the attraction to these cars.
So don't let the comments & looks bother you because you're the one smiling every mile you drive.
Kind Regards
Simon

If they're staring at you, you're either some kind of male model type stud muffin....see Fubar
....... Or like myself, you're Pig ugly, and the onlookers feel sorry for your affliction or the car is very bold and bright
.

Probably the last option i think. If they're staring at you, you're either some kind of male model type stud muffin....see Fubar
