Any chance of some opinions on a few cars please?
Discussion
Looking for some opinions on the following:-
Met' greenish 4.5 LW Red Rose £18,995 last service Jan 08 at TVR Centre previous at Castle, previous to that, comprehensive file, very good reading, recent slave cyl.
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/651347.htm
All black 4.5 LW £15,995 well specified, like the colour
perhaps miles up a bit considering year?
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/670663.htm
Reflex 4.5 £23,995 are miles too low? (sounds silly doesn't it) however, looks immaculate, last service was Nov 06 at 12k, so due another, could be a good thing or a bad thing?
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/590322.htm
If you were in the market, as an owner with experience what would tick the boxes?
Any further questions to ask?

Agree with Alandwf on order. The reflex one seems over priced to me, but the advert is light on detail. Usual comments on getting professionally inspected and check condition of chassis still stand. Colour is the last of your concerns.
The difference in cost from cheapest to dearest would leave you a very tidy contingency.

If the reflex is better priced, would it affect anybody's choice.
Just on long term the mileage would be a better hedge against loses.?? yes/no? forgetting about the cost of maintenance.
The green one maybe more desirable for having the rose conversion. ?
I find it hard to make a choice ?

I'd be interested to know what power the red rose one is putting out. I think from the old owner's posts about 350bhp, but that to me (of little knowledge) seems on the low side?
Hi there,as the owner of the reflex one I can tell you that it put out 401 bhp after a remap at Austec.
Interesting thread!!

with the exception of a service and 2 new tyres there is nothing else needed on the reflex car - the clutch was replaced 2k miles ago and its not long out of Austec after having a touch up and chassis once over! The difference in cost from cheapest to dearest would leave you a very tidy contingency.

Sorry to bring this back.
RE: Cars below
Both 4.5LW blue one a 2000, silver 2001, blue one one has slightly less miles
Similar interiors, both look well looked after, similar specs, the silver one has sold, but was up for £17k.
What would opinions be on the blue one, assuming it's a good example? (i'm sure it is) it's currently up for £22k

What are you asking ?
Blue one looks lovely, as you'd expect.
If you want to know about the price, ring up your local car dealer, and see how much they'll allow you against A 2000 Cerb with 25k miles on the clock

I was merely trying to see if there really should be so much disparity between the prices? or is it just personal opinion of the seller?
Merely trying to second guess owners thoughts.
I bought oomf, its a cracker...!!!
What about this one, this was my second choice if oomf had gone.

looks like fom other threads , that this one has fallen into a poor state, water ingress etc which does not bode well for its long life and resale. Can't find the thread now. I think my boy may go and look at offords today! I really like the Blue one but the owner is sticking out for what he wants and for the boy its just a bit too much, tho I'm sure he'd give it a good home. The other is the relex one which he may look at sunday. My choice is the blue followed by green one if it was as its one of past owners had kept it.
