If she minds you getting a Cerb then get rid of the wife.

The tt is a truly grim car - get rid of it and buy ANYTHING else.

It has such an image problem these days

Depends if you will be ostracised from the fellowship of crimpers if you buy a Cerb - could you live without the luvvies?

nah dont tell her. just roll up grumbling. then strap her in and floor it!

suggest you have a practice first though... wouldn't want you losing the back end and scaring her speechless!

on second thoughts...

Will people stop taking the piss of other people cars. If you chip a TT to 270bhp then it is not very ‘hairdressery’ at all. Quite good fun even. Yes dead steering etc bla bla bla but so has an RS6 and we’d all be happy with one of them eh? As you can guess, I have a chipped TT but want (will) have a Cerb one day. I could not cope with the 6000m servicing and ££££ clutches with the current mileage that I do. If you do get a TT be prepared for zero respect in the car fraternity but if you chip it, replace brakes and put on some decent rubber then at least you can wipe off their smug smiles when out cornering, out braking and out running them - Although this obviously does not include Cerbs in the dry! If I didn’t have a head then I’d have a Cerbera within a week. Unfortunately I do so the TT will have to be my wheels for a while yet.

Its a no brainer. I am on my second Cerbera and you cannot compare with something so mundane as an Audi anything.

You can't come on here and expect people not to take the piss.

I get it all the time because I own a Porscccchhhhhaaaaaa Boxstaaaaaaaaaaa and the trick is not to care!

The only thing I can similar about an Audi TT and a Cerbera is the excuse for rear seats they both have. I haven't driven either of them but I've passengered in both and......

they're both really nice cars...

Cerbera & TT's different league completely.

Rear seats on both are only good for shopping, bags or cases, although I did take a single rear seat passenger once. I don't know what was more fun watching him try to get in or when he tried to get out

Anyway, since it's National Speak like a Pirate day..

"Yaaaarrrr, I'll have no more or I'll make ye walk the plank and ye'll get no rum either so desist ye with the TT bashing and gets back to some proper buccaneering ye scurvy dogs. MX5 on the port bow! yaaaaaaar"

Or try putting 2 engines in one, then watch the wnakers disappear very rapidly in your rear view mirror Who needs the rear seats anyway?

And before anyone asks, no I don't own one, never have, and don't want one either
