What is the best tyre size config on a Cerb for a set of spiders? Is it 225 front and 255 rear, or 235 front 245/55 rear? Bearing in mind either Protech/RR shocks will be fitted.

And how much will all four cost me, from the most reasonable tyre supplier/fitter?

Thanks
Cad

Not sure what sizes people run but http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ have always been good on price.

Oh, and email a couple pics of your car so I can start P-shoppin the wheels!

Generally people go for 225/35/18 front and 255/35/18 for the rears.

Yes, this is the dimension me and a fried of mine use on our Cerberas here in Sweden. The 225/35´s look a little to small on the Spiders, but it works. 225´s look better on 8 inch wide rims.

I must admit I have changed the fronts to 225/40/18 as they look better with a taller profile

Got any other pics apart from the one in your profile Opti? I'm interested in your option, to see if it is an improvement on the general sizes.

The difference doesn't really show up on any photos as the change in height is minimal. 79mm high for the 35 series and 90mm for the 40 series, when looking at the fronts. The rears are 255/35/18 and are 90mm tall.

Any excuse for a photo though.

The profile does look more even with the 40's. Could be the way forward.
Nice pics btw.

Don't go anything wider than 225's on the front as it'll cause the steering to be very very twitchy.

Dangerously so.
