New Cerb owner Introduction / Oil pressure waning light
Discussion
Hello, My name is Graham or Gray. i live in South Yorks and ive recently bought this low mileage 4.2

This is my first TVR and i must say its an awesome machine
and i love it , reguardles of the few little faults ive found
The first job i want to address is the oil pressure warning light

As you can see it does nt work, the oil preesure gauge works fine and ive had the speedo out and the bulb is in A1 working condtion, so i think there must be a wire off under the bonnet or the sensor on the engine is faulty, ive had a quick look but i carnt find the sensor on the block
Where is it ?
by the way, this is my first post on pistonheads and im sorry if the pics are a little big

That looks like my old car!...... I part-x'd it in June.. If you need any information about it let me know. vectra105@hotmail.com
The oil pressure gauge worked when i sold it, i know the bulb for the speedo was not working, but all the other electrics were spot on.
Good to see it again :-) Although i'd replace the milk bottle cap that i had to use in an emergency on the water jet bottle :-)

Thanks Stu for that bit of info, The cars going to get its tappets checked soon. so i ll ask the garage to do that job. seems point less having the engine in bits twice it such a short space of time.
And thank you Craig for your e mail about the cars past life, ive printed it off and going to keep it with the rest of the bills
cheers guys
