Calling Cerbera Enthusiasts!
Discussion
Hi,
As most of you know we race a Cerbera in the Dunlop TVR Challenge. The car has been developed over the last two years and this year has won the class B championship upsetting many of the class A cars along the way.
Next year we are looking to move things on a bit..... We will run in the normal championship but with one big difference... The britcar 24hr race.
The car will be dramaticly modified over the winter to make it competative and reliable to compete in this high profile endurance race.
The reason we are doing this is because we belive that we can enter a cerbera with all cerbera parts and finish (which is the main aim).
It will be a great demonsration of the AJP-T5 combination. It will also show how good the cerbera is as an endurance race car. Many people critisise the AJP power plant but i have no reason to believe it wouldnt be up to the job.
The idea is to create a team consiting mainly of "TVR people" and enthusiasts. Its not going to be done on a shoe string! However it will have a low budget clubman feel to it(part of the attraction to the project).
Were not looking for any money or parts etc but were looking to see if there is anyone who would like to be involved in this project (on any level) Technical help, Pit wall signaling, Re-fueling or just an extra pair of hands!
By next year we will need a team of at least 15 dedicated people to be part of the "crew" and many others to give support and encoragement.
I realise this whole project will not be easy (or cheap) but I think with the right people and a bit of luck it could be quite an amazing experience.
So let me know if you have any intrest in this!
Its early days at the moment but the car is allready being worked on and modified.
Team Cerbera V8 racing in the 24 hours....... Has quite a ring to it??
Many Thanks
MIke

It's going to take hours to get this thought fully out of my mind, as I read it I shuddered, then it (he) hit me; I've pushed the thought away, but I know it's lurking ready to jump out at me when I least expect it.
