Hi all, I'm getting a clicking/grinding noise from my rear right side wheel area when going around left hand corners, i know its never much use unless you can hear it but was just wondering if anyone can shed any light on what i should look for?

Brett, Ive got someting similar from the rear left when conering right under load (suspension compressed, doesnt happen on flat corners). At Spa on Monday the Dulford boys (thanks guys!) had a look and think the driveshaft is just touching the bodywork. Not dangerously but going in to be looked at. HTH.

I have what appears to be exactly the same as this - is it quite a loud grinding noise? Anoise that sounds like it could be the wheel touching the arch (which it isnt)? It's been bugging me for months, and I never thought of checking the driveshaft.

Yea that sounds about right, I'll have a look, although I'm not sure how you would fix it? Keep me posted mate!

Difficult noise to explain...you know when you used to get a metal ruler and twang it on your desk as a kid? Well, its like a rubbery version of that?

The Dulford boys said, after further checks, if it turns out to be the trouble, the bodywork needs trimming underneath (in the wheel arch?) then reglassing?

Is it not possible to go for a drive only turning right = no clicking?

I'm sure my hearing has deteriorated after removing cats and now noticeably louder after removing the 'link' on the decats laugh
