Can someone tell me if I want to pay £20 for curved wiper blades with built in washer jets from Fleebay, or pay Leven £30 for what appears to be the same? Do I want to buy wiper arms from Leven as well for another £30? What's wrong with my wiper arms?

Yes i am wanting to know the exact same thing! And also would it be worth buying a set just for the jets and then also buying the more modern aero type blades? Has anyone had any experience with these new type blades?

I have the aero blades, don't really work well as they only seem to wipe in one direction! May just be the ones I bought, but think that curved blades must be the way forward.

Well that's ruled those out for me. So its back to Leven or Ebay then. The ebay jets do just look like a replacement of the originals? Are the Leven ones a better system? Bought some of that Rainx stuff to try the other day. Anyone had any experience with it?

There is already a thread on this recently as i was asking the same many said the e-bays were good and had no problems (i just got some look fine but have not tried as yet. Mine were Leven but I guess through age stopp flattening out after coming off the curve on the passenger side so left a horrible uncleaned bit right in front of the passenger. Check back about a week ago?

So were the leven ones identical to the ebay items? What are the washer jets like on both?

I just got a set of the ones off ebay in the post today and I've fitted them to the car a few minutes ago.

These are the ones I got (the £19.99 ones).

I've got a few things to do but, as it's raining here tonight, I think a "test drive" may be required.

How can anyone take the wee properly where your car is concerned. It dose make all the others look a little bit weedy dosent it. Lol! I aspire to one day make my car as fast as yours but alas i'm told the speed 6 chassis wont take a V8. :-( Anyway back to wipers, if they are good enough for you then we all should be ok whith them. Are the jets the same as the original ones? Do you know if the Leven ones are any better?

I'm home.

And I saw where I was going all the way home.

I'm happy with them.

For the first few miles they were leaving a patch of water on the screen right in front of me but after a short while they seemed to "bed in" and from then on they were fine.

The spray units for the wash water seem to be better than the original pipe.

But that's all after just 30 miles or so.

Ask me again in a few weeks .....

I have tried both the Leven and the curved blades from fleabay. On my Cerb the ebay ones were the only blades that cleared right across the screen. The jets on the Leven ones look better made however in 9 months I have had no problem with the ebay ones.

I keep a spare set of the ebay ones in the cupboard incase they get hard to get hold of!

Thanks for the replies guys. What about the wiper arms though? Has anyone bought those from Leven, and if so why? Are they shorter so you get better coverage of the screen??
