Dark evenings, been reading my hand book.

What does the buzzer adjustment thingy look like.

Never seen anything likely under there when I've been cleaning out all the spiders, moths and glue.

I have the early one too, the pcb has slot for 'buzzer' but it is not fitted, I'd love to know if anyone has retrofitted one confused

Yes, i would like to know the answer to this too, mine is a 96 model with the PCB track marked buzzer also but nothing soldered in the hole, I tried playing with the indicators, ignition etc with a multimeter stuffed in the hole but could not get any kind of reading so god knows!

According to previous posts on here it's a pot on the board behind the speedo, etc.

It's accessed by removing the top cover as per the instructions on the speedo light bulb thread from earlier today.

There might be on some, but early cars the buzzer slot on the pcb is vacant hehe

The next time I'm pulling my car apart to fix something I'll have a look and see if there's one on mine.

At the rate I'm going at the moment that'll probably be tomorrow night.

So lets get this clear, am I correct in thinking the buzzer should sound when indicators were activated, when the car is in ignition mode and (maybe) when you reach some kind of soft rev limit?

I was referring to the rev limit buzzer/light. You know, the 'gayometer' paperbag

No, the 'gayometer' is only active when you don’t press the accelerator pedal hard enough!

(on mine at least)
Take the top dash cover off and attached to the circuit board, just behind the oil pressure gauge, facing upwards is a small screw type adjuster (best description I can give lol)
I had my dash out today If I'd known I would have taken a pic.

Therein lies part of my problem Peter. Im pretty sure I didnt rev past 6k, and we all know there's plenty of kick above that. I keep telling myself to keep the boot in, but for some reason I snatch another gear. paperbag

I caught myself doing the same on the Spa trackday a few weeks ago rolleyes
