Hello all,

I am new to this,I have a Cerbera 4.2 which I have exported to portugal. I had a few problems with this car. I all started off when my baterry when flat I jump stated it....at this point I think I all my back boxes went dead :-( I then got all back boxes and another ECU for it(all second hand). After that the car was fine but not for long, My clutch went and I had it replaced, When the car came back from the garage it was never the same. It is fine in high revs but low revs the car isnt getting the same current to both injector ramps (less on the left). This only happens up to 2000revs. I have put in new spark plugs, leads and the LAMBDA SENSOR. The alarme on the car is still not working could anyone help me with this PLEASE ????

Have you had the ecu hooked up to a laptop with the diagnostic software?

Software can be downloaded here:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dave.hinns/software.h...

Cable can be bought on ebay; as long as you're not worried about releasing any further functionality in the ecu that was disabled by TVR, then a standard serial extension lead (null) will do fine.

The connector for the ecu is inside the ecu box- just undo the front cover and its in the middle of the circuit board.

I am also interested in this as i've had my MIL light flash a few times. Will the cause of this be logged? Excuse me if i appear a little dumb but where abouts is the ECU located? Is it in the boot with all the other control boxes? What other functions may TVR have disabled? Would any be of use to me and what would i need to access them?

Hi thanx for your help :-) I was just wondering if the coil packs has influence on the injectors??? I thought this was only to do with spark plugs and leads??? I this not true??
Thanx

The leads that come from the lambda sensors are marked odd (1,3,5,7) and even(2,4,6,8), and they can easliy be put in the wrong way around.

Errrrr soory mate i cant remember right now what side is the even bank and what sides odd, if sombody doesnt say on here quickly then try a search.
Either that or if you can trace the wire from the lambda sensor back, from under the car the lead connected to the left hand exhaust should goto the left hand side bank of cylenders, and the right hand side exhaust to the right hand bank. There very easy to get mixed up......... yes i done it lol
Hope that helps
