Heading towards Coalville through Sinope yesterday in that heavy rain when I hit a mother of a puddle, almost half way across the road, abnd god knows how deep!

Woosh, huge wall of spray, a bit of a squirm for the Cerb, another squirm as it came out the other end and regained grip, a bit of a cough and a splutter from all the spray being sucked in the front, but apart from that, no real drama.

Miles apart from last time I hit a puddle where it was only an inch or so of standing water and I was all over the damn road. Just goes to show what a decent pair of rubber boots can do for your wet weather handling.

Mind you, I don't mind admitting that I was... a little concerned for a moment there. Although I wasn't as bad as the wife... I thought she was going to faint biggrin
