As Jonnie said two wing nuts from below and then, if like mine, alot of careful wiggling as it can be a tight fit.

IIRC there is a 3rd one above the radio to the right, its a 2 man job & when refitting you need to be carefull with the centre thread as its easy to damage the dash facia with the thread.

Do you mean the cover over the instruments or the whole of the dash?

Yeh, I've got the centre consoul/lower dash out, it's the bit with the vents below the windscreen, I'm assuming it may be part of the shell? How can I get it retrimmed? Rip the leather off, trim it and reglue the new bit down? hmmmmm?

Cheers all,

I'm pretty certain is does come off - there are 2 wing nuts underneath, at each extreme edge of the main dash assembly

I have the same problem. You cant do it without removing the windscreen im afraid, the problem is that its unlikely that you ll be abe to remove the screen intactfrown

Mine is fiberglassed to the body in the middle and as has been mentioned you wouild have to take the screen out to stand a hope of removing it.

Retrimming it in situ was the very sod of a job but can be done with care and persistence (and a scalpel gaffer taped to a steel ruler...)
