Anyone know where I could hire a Cerbera on th 29th Nov for a couple of hours?
Short journey from Uckfield to Horstead place (couple of miles) for a wedding. Groom wants to arrive in style!!

I know its a long shot, but if you dont ask....

Thanks

Steve

Personally, I don't think you'll be able to hire a Cerbera.

However, you may well find that someone local with a Cerbera might come along and offer to take the Groom as a passenger thumbup

Couple of weekends ago, a large group of us arrived at some unsuspecting Grooms house to take him and his Best man et al to the Church smile. He thought he was looking out for a minibus! tongue out

Good luck! smile

Try in general TVR, you might get someone willing to drive you both over?

If I was local i'd do it, so no reason why someone else might not offer. The chances of someone letting you loose in their P&J are slim though, taxi only i'd have thought!

I think there's a 0% chance of hiring a cerbera, but if you decide you want to have a cerb or two to chauffer you, let me know and I'll have a word with the guys. We're a friendly bunch, us cerb owners!

I replied to this in General gassing, but I'll post it here as well...

Is it worth giving Dream Machines a call and see if they can work something out, they're not too far away in Heathfield.

Neil.

Hi Steve,

I am the TVRCC Regional Organiser for East Sussex.

I am afraid Cerbs are a bit of a rarity amoungst the regulars in this region....if it was other models like Griffs or Chims there would be more of a chance of success.

I see one of the regulars who does own a Cerb(Robscim) has already replied. The only other regular that springs to mind is on an oil tanker some where in the far east!

If you decide other TVR models would be ok let me know & I will put out a request to the regions members.

Sorry I can't help, I know Cerbs are the business, but your listed V8 Esprit is not exactly lacking in style for the occasion is it?
